Kendra's Legacy Foundation is near and dear to my heart. Kendra was my cousin. A young, healthy mother of two who passed away at the age of 36 due to complications from influenza in 2012.

Her mom established the foundation in 2013 to encourage others to get their flu vaccinations and to provide support for families who have suffered loss. It’s tough to be reminded how fragile life is, but it’s been obvious from the beginning that Kendra has her hand in the work her mom, family and friends continue.
